Top SchoolChanakya Valluri is a full-stack Software Engineer III with a decade of experience building scalable web and cloud-native systems, currently contributing to GitHub after progressing through roles focused on Dependabot and developer experience. He has a strong background in cloud integrations and data pipelines from work at Genesys, Vanguard, and EPRI, where he built AWS Lambda/DynamoDB pipelines and analytics dashboards for real-world energy and IoT data. Trained at App Academy and holding an electrical engineering BS, he bridges hardware-aware data work and modern software practices, often converting complex telemetry into actionable product features. Based in North Carolina, Chanakya brings a practical mix of backend reliability and front-end shipping velocity, with a habit of automating repetitive workflows to improve developer productivity. Outside core work he’s applied statistical and visualization skills to energy and EV datasets, a less obvious thread that informs his systems-thinking approach to product and infrastructure design.
