Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolChandrakana Nandi is a Senior Researcher based in Seattle with a decade of experience at the intersection of formal methods, concurrency, and real-time systems. Currently at Certora, she applies rigorous software verification techniques to improve the correctness of complex systems, building on a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Washington and a Master's from EPFL. Her background includes research roles at ETH Zurich and industry internships at ABB, where she worked on contracts for real-time systems and temporal specifications using stochastic theories—an unusual blend of theoretical depth and practical engineering. Early work on biomechanical simulation at EPFL hints at a propensity for cross-disciplinary problem solving and quantitative modeling. Colleagues know her for translating formal research into tangible tooling and for tackling hard verification problems that bridge academia and industry.
