Top SchoolCharalampos Kardaris is a Principal Software Engineer with nine years of experience specializing in High Level Synthesis, processor toolchains, and performance acceleration on FPGA platforms. He has driven HLS development for Codasip Studio and delivered measurable speedups (up to 15x) on post-quantum crypto and ML kernels using Xilinx Alveo cards during research roles. Comfortable across C++, FPGA toolflows (Vitis/HLS), and Linux, he bridges hardware-aware algorithm design with production-grade software for processor design tooling. Now at onsemi, he applies deep domain knowledge from both research and product engineering to complex system-level problems. An advocate for open source and iterative tooling, he combines academic rigor from NTUA with practical impact in industry-grade EDA and HLS workflows. Notably, his background includes hands-on acceleration projects that turned research kernels into deployable, high-throughput implementations.
