Senior🎓
Top SchoolCharles Allison is a Senior Software Engineer and Architect with 8 years' experience helping businesses design and maintain business-driven software products while mentoring development teams. He combines deep expertise in backend frameworks (NodeJS, NestJS, .NET Core, Spring Boot) and databases (MySQL, MongoDB) with a strong background in desktop and enterprise architectures (WPF/Prism, JavaFX, NHibernate). As an experienced remote developer based between Oregon and Nigeria, he routinely time-shifts to collaborate across time zones and deliver pragmatic, maintainable solutions. He is an AWS Community Builder, public speaker, and craftsman-minded mentor who emphasizes thoughtful design and testable systems using tools like SpecFlow, NUnit, and xUnit. Less obvious: he blends modern cloud-native patterns with decades of UI/desktop architecture experience, enabling cross-cutting solutions that bridge legacy desktop apps and contemporary distributed services.
