Top SchoolCharles Chigoriwa is a Zimbabwean technopreneur and seasoned software leader with 11 years of experience building scalable, mission-driven systems across fintech, health informatics, and education. As co-founder of FundoLinker he has grown a student careers and support platform to over 850,000 users and steered the company to recognition among top African recruitment and skills startups. His hands-on background spans distributed systems, high-throughput transaction platforms, and interoperable health registries, having led teams that integrated national health systems and contributed to the OpenHIE community. Charles combines deep Java and enterprise-stack expertise with product-level architecture experience from roles at banks, telecoms, and startups, plus a history of mentoring students and shaping reusable, modular solutions. Unusually for a founder, he remains active as a consultant and technologist—delivering core implementations such as credit vetting, ATM/airtime servers, and nation-scale HRIS—bridging strategy and code. He holds a BBSCT in Business Studies and Computer Science from the University of Zimbabwe and brings entrepreneurial grit paired with pragmatic engineering.
