Senior🎓
Top SchoolCharlie T is a Data Scientist based in Seattle with 11 years of experience applying machine learning to product and geospatial problems across startups and large tech. At Google he leverages ML and Gemini to predict real-world map changes like speed limits and signage, while prior roles at Spotify and Storyblocks show hands-on production modeling—an XGBoost churn model for 100+M users and event pipelines in PySpark. He also consults on analytics and dashboards through Thompson Analytics, bridging technical models with clear business-facing visualizations. Trained in economics (Barcelona School of Economics, Gonzaga), he combines rigorous time-series and causal thinking with practical experimentation expertise from running in-app tests and marketing optimization. A former cleared consultant who has taught and led hackathons, Charlie brings a blend of research-grade analysis and production engineering that’s unusually cross-functional for a data scientist.
