Chiara Di Vece is a founding applied scientist at Botz Innovation and a PhD candidate in Computer Science at UCL’s Surgical Robot Vision Group, bringing a decade of experience at the intersection of computer vision, medical robotics, and AI agents. She combines academic rigor—publishing work on surgical simulation and brain deformation modelling—with practical product experience building deep learning features and AI-driven imaging tools. Her background spans industry internships (MathWorks, AI SuitUp) and cross-Atlantic research collaborations, reflecting an ability to translate complex research into deployable algorithms. A multilingual engineer with top academic honours and a dance diploma, she pairs technical precision with creative problem-solving in high-stakes clinical settings.

Alta Scuola Politecnica (ASP) is the joint honor program of Politecnico di Milano and Politecnico di Torino, restricted to 150 exceptionally talented students (engineers, architects and industrial designers) coming from about 20 different countries based on merit. The school, entirely in English, runs in parallel with the Master of Science programs and is based on ad-hoc courses (innovation, management, decision-making, soft skills, design methods and processes) and the development of multidisciplinary projects.
The mission of ASP is to provide society with high-profile graduates combining in-depth disciplinary knowledge from their MSc programs with interdisciplinary skills that are needed to work in a multidisciplinary environment.
