Senior🎓
Top SchoolChigbo Ezejiugo is a fintech-focused software engineer with eight years of experience building high-scale payment platforms and cross-border payment APIs, currently based in Oslo. He has led backend architecture and core services at startups and scaleups—designing resilient microservices in Java and Go, optimizing systems to handle billions of weekly requests and hundreds of thousands of daily transactions. As a founding engineer at Recital Finance and through roles at Flutterwave and Neonomics, he has combined cloud-native infrastructure on AWS/GCP with pragmatic API design to deliver secure, low-latency payment and reconciliation systems. He also maintains Javalidator, an open-source Java validation library inspired by Laravel, reflecting a developer-first focus on fluency and extensibility that isn’t obvious from fintech metrics alone. Colleagues know him for blending hands-on engineering with a strong emphasis on operational reliability, CI/CD, and developer experience.
