Top SchoolChiradip Mandal is a technologist and realtime-systems leader with over a decade of experience turning zero-revenue ventures into profitable, acquired businesses and architecting ultra-large-scale systems for Silicon Valley giants. He built foundational innovations—ZeroCopy Data Virtualization, Autonomous Data Infrastructure, Cisco Unified Service Delivery Framework, and a CloudScaleDB—and led planet-scale data architecture for Apple Media Platform services supporting hundreds of millions of users. Equally comfortable inventing products as a CTO and rolling up his sleeves in code (Java, Scala, Clojure, Erlang, Python), he specializes in cloud-native, distributed, and hyper-converged data infrastructure. Known for P&L-driven disruption, he repeatedly connects people, market, and future technology to create operationally efficient, high-performance platforms. Outside work he skippers an ocean-racing J/160 from Alameda and holds an FCC Extra Class ham radio license—small signs of a systems thinker who enjoys complex, real-world feedback loops.
