Senior🎓
Top SchoolChoi Yeongjun is a Cloud Platform Team Lead based in Seoul with 10 years of hands-on experience in SRE, DevOps, and cloud-native platforms. He has led EKS/Istio meshes, GitOps with ArgoCD, and progressive delivery using Argo Rollouts and Tekton, while reducing operational cost and improving performance through pragmatic engineering (for example, a resized-image service that cut costs by 70% and sped responses by 30%). His background spans security-hardened engineering—earlier roles focused on binary obfuscation, anti-debugging, and vulnerability triage—giving him a strong safety-first mindset in platform design. At RIDI he built event-driven systems, logging pipelines (Elasticsearch, Datadog, Loki), and automated autoscaling with Karpenter, showing both infrastructure depth and application-level impact. Colleagues know him for combining practical tool-driven automation with careful testing (TDD + 30+ test cases) and for welcoming coffee chats to explore ideas and collaboration.
