Top SchoolChris Allinson is a BI consultant and senior software engineer with 10+ years of hands-on experience designing, migrating and optimising data warehouses, ETL pipelines and reporting platforms for law firms, education and nonprofit sectors. He takes end-to-end ownership from stakeholder requirements and architecture through to implementation, support and forensic data validation, with deep expertise in SQL Server, T-SQL, SSIS/SSRS, Power BI and Powershell. His recent work includes complex PMS migrations and global multi-currency warehouse re-engineering that eliminated the need for schema changes by converting currencies on the fly. A pragmatic integrator, he’s delivered both on-prem and cloud system-to-system integrations across finance, payroll, HR and identity systems while balancing technical rigor with collaborative stakeholder engagement. Trained originally as a chemical engineer and later in computing, he brings a systematic, analytical approach to tricky data-conversion and integration challenges.
