Top SchoolChris Beresford is a seasoned software leader and platform architect with a decade of experience building scalable web platforms, currently leading platform engineering at GoDaddy from Phoenix. He blends hands-on full-stack JavaScript and backend expertise with people leadership, having progressed from intern to Sr. Manager while architecting high-throughput APIs (e.g., a Storefront API serving 5k+ req/min) and leading the NES catalog and commerce UI efforts. A repeat founder, Chris launched and grew customer-facing products (WodHeroes, InternScoop) and brings an operator’s mindset to product, analytics, and customer feedback loops. He’s known for empowering early-career engineers—formerly president of GoDaddy’s GDGrad—and for translating complex business needs into pragmatic, scalable architectures.
