Top SchoolChris Bergeron is a pragmatic technology CEO with over two decades of hands-on Unix/Linux and systems experience who now leads a turnkey point-of-sale and solutions company from Bristol, CT. He blends deep low-level expertise—ARM and x86 system design, embedded systems, hardware selection—with cloud, virtualization, and infrastructure know-how to keep customers reliably operational. As a former lead developer and long-time editor-in-chief of a Linux/Unix publication, he pairs technical craftsmanship with clear technical writing and product-focused management. He also co-founded and sustained a nonprofit maker space, applying community outreach and education to broaden technical literacy. Known for cost-conscious design decisions and automated testing practices, he looks for new markets where pragmatic engineering meets measurable customer satisfaction.
