Top SchoolChris Brookes is a Senior Software Engineer with 13 years of experience building data-driven, AI-enabled systems and production-grade cyber security tooling. He currently develops large-scale ETL and analytics platforms at YouGov, blending ClickHouse, Airflow, AWS and Kubernetes to deliver daily brand insights while embedding LLM-powered summarisation and PII/safety classifiers into product workflows. Previously he led mission-critical Windows and network security projects at BT, working across low-level C/C++/C# and Python and managing a small engineering team with a strong emphasis on testing and CI. AWS and Kubernetes certified, Chris pairs practical DevOps and observability expertise with applied AI, and he also writes about engineering and AI topics for a broader technical audience. An understated strength is his track record of migrating monoliths to microservices and improving operational visibility for high-throughput systems.
