Senior🎓
Top SchoolChris Dance is a Full-Stack JavaScript engineer based in Berlin with 10 years’ experience building customer-facing and internal products at scale. He blends hands-on development in React, React Native, Node, and TypeScript with systems thinking—leading a zero-downtime migration from ReasonML monolith to micro-frontends and modernising stacks at Wolt. Previously he managed a team at Klarna responsible for features used by 350k daily users, owning incident analysis, A/B testing, and tech-debt prioritisation while architecting secure PCI-sensitive flows. Chris pairs product-minded user research with engineering discipline—introducing design systems, CI/CD improvements, and Slack-JIRA workflows to boost visibility and developer velocity. He has repeatedly delivered complex integrations and migrations (e.g., FanDuel/Betfair 1.2M account migration) and thrives where frontend UX, backend security, and operational reliability intersect.
