Top SchoolChris Hanel is a designer-developer with a decade of experience crafting dynamic broadcast graphics, motion design, and interactive experiences for live streaming and events. As Support Class’s art and design lead and Production Design Lead for Games Done Quick, he blends game design sensibilities with front-end engineering (HTML/JS, Polymer, Node.js) to build fully dynamic overlays and audience-interactive systems. His background in AAA cinematics and content design for studios like Carbine and Budcat informs polished storytelling, UX, and tooling for real-time production. Beyond client work for Blizzard and Critical Role, he contributes to open-source livestream tooling and brings an unusual combination of narrative-first design and hands-on pipeline implementation. Based in Coos Bay, Oregon, Chris is as comfortable scripting game quests as he is animating live broadcast sequences, making him a rare hybrid of creative director and production engineer.
