Chris Leach
Enterprise Security Architect at Sopra Steria
Gloucester, England, United Kingdom
Summary
👤
SeniorChris Leach is an Enterprise Security Architect with over 20 years’ experience designing and assuring security across large, highly regulated public and commercial environments. He has led cloud migrations, Zero Trust implementations, SOC and SIEM modernisations, and Secure by Design programmes aligned to JSP and NCSC standards, often acting as the primary security escalation point for senior stakeholders. Comfortable as a technical authority, programme architect or security lead, he has driven multi-vendor transformations including ArcSight-to-Splunk migrations and 24x7 SOC modernisation. Chris blends hands-on artefact ownership (HLDs/LLDs/APDs/SDDs) and governance with pragmatic risk-based decisions, and has embedded controls like PAM and protective monitoring into live services. A background that spans frontline IT support to chief architect gives him rare empathy for delivery teams and an ability to translate compliance requirements into actionable engineering outcomes.
