Top SchoolChris Spilka is a growth-focused technologist and founder with 11+ years of experience turning developer tools into sustainable businesses. As co-founder and long-time CEO of Handsontable he scaled a JavaScript data grid to 20k+ GitHub stars, $2.5M+ ARR and Fortune 100 adoption while bootstrapping a 20+ person team. He blends hands-on front-end craftsmanship (contributing documentation and UI fixes to the Handsontable repo) with commercial instincts in product, sales and partnerships. Now based in Gdynia, he advises and consults on growth strategies for developer-focused products, drawing on experience navigating regulation, contract negotiations and technical audits from earlier roles in finance and travel. Colleagues describe him as pragmatic and outcome-driven, with a knack for turning complex developer workflows into clear, usable products.
