Senior🎓
Top SchoolChris Taylor is a security-focused infrastructure leader with over a decade of experience architecting and protecting large-scale IT platforms at Cisco. As a Director and Principal Engineer, he blends hands-on engineering—Infrastructure as Code hardening, continuous code analysis, and red-team testing—with team leadership to drive measurable reductions in security risk across global private clouds. He has a track record of building automation that scales operationally (including GPU-accelerated tooling and self-service provisioning that cut manual work by thousands of cases monthly) and aligning security with audit and compliance requirements. Comfortable moving between strategy and implementation, Chris champions a “security-first” mindset while keeping protections transparent to end users. Based in the Raleigh–Durham–Chapel Hill area, he brings practical, product-minded engineering to problems that intersect platforms, automation, and governance.
