Summary
🤩
RockstarChristian Deacon is a self-taught network, systems, and software engineer with 11 years of experience building high-performance networking and security tooling, including layer‑7 firewalls and DDoS mitigation systems. As founder of Tek Works, The Modding Community, and previously Games For Life, he combines entrepreneurial product delivery with hands‑on systems work—shipping Anycast networks, custom packet forwarding, and penetration‑testing utilities. He codes across C/C++, Go, Python, Elixir and more, and operates deep in Linux networking stacks (XDP, AF_XDP, DPDK, TC) as well as orchestration platforms like Kubernetes and Docker. Comfortable on both backend and web stacks (Next.js, TypeScript, Django) and experienced with BGP and traffic engineering, he brings an uncommon blend of game‑server scale ops and security-focused development. Based in New Jersey, he’s an open‑source oriented builder who routinely turns adversarial real‑world attack experience into practical, production‑grade defenses.
