Top SchoolChristian Gimber is an independent product designer based in San Diego with 11 years of multidisciplinary experience blending visual craft, user research, rapid prototyping, and creative technology. He spent several years at NASA JPL leading data visualization and mission operations design work, translating complex scientific data into usable experiences and tooling. Comfortable in ambiguous, early-stage product spaces, he partners with startups, agencies, and research teams to move ideas from concept to interactive prototypes. Christian’s practice often sits at the intersection of physical and digital systems, and he’s available for consulting in data visualization and experience design. An experimental maker by training (UCLA Design | Media Arts), he brings a studio mindset to product challenges—balancing aesthetics with pragmatic UX and engineering constraints.
