Top SchoolChristian Mackeprang is a Senior Software Engineer from Argentina with 14 years of hands-on experience building and maintaining large-scale web platforms across Ruby on Rails, Node, Java, PHP and TypeScript stacks. He has delivered reliable, production-grade systems for companies like TuneCore and Braintree, focusing on authentication, CI/CD, AWS infrastructure and integrations with major platforms such as Apple Music and Meta. Comfortable in both monoliths and microservices, he blends backend architecture, DevOps practices (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, CircleCI) and frontend work to keep features shipping and systems stable. Christian is pragmatic about testing and observability—introducing unit testing and code review practices early in teams and routinely debugging with tools like Sentry/Airbrake. He often takes ownership beyond code, having led technical teams, run server operations, and even pitched startup tech as a former CTO. Based in Argentina, he writes about software design and best practices, pairing broad language fluency with a long-running commitment to maintainability and reliability.
