Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolChristian Tatu is a senior engineering manager based in Berlin with a solid four-year track record in engineering leadership and over a decade of hands-on game development and tooling experience. He has progressed from developer and technical lead roles at Gameloft and King—where he led C++ teams on flagship titles like Candy Crush—to management positions at DECA Games and Artsy, driving migrations, build-system modernizations, and cross-team technical forums. Christian blends people management (1:1s, coaching, performance reviews) with practical engineering improvements, such as migrating tools from Qt5 to Qt6 and moving Android builds from Ant to Gradle. He’s especially skilled at de-siloing teams, establishing repeatable processes, and enabling engineers to own end-to-end delivery. A Polytechnic University of Bucharest computer science graduate, he brings a pragmatic, craft-focused approach that balances technical debt reduction with shipping features.
