Top SchoolChristian Trosclair is a Staff Software Engineer with 11+ years of experience blending hands-on architecture, technical leadership, and product-focused delivery for clients such as Apple, Netflix, AT&T, Veeps, and LiveNation. He specializes in scalable backend systems (Elixir/OTP, Ruby, GenServers), GraphQL/Absinthe, and cross-platform frontends, and has led large migrations—most notably a Ruby-to-Elixir rewrite and unifying authentication across web and mobile ecosystems. A pragmatic mentor and team-builder, he has grown engineers into senior roles, reduced critical downtime, and instilled humane, high-performing development cultures that balance small iterative wins with long-term vision. He also brings startup and CTO experience—building an NLG/NLP knowledge engine under an NSF STTR grant—and runs his own contracting business, giving him an unusually broad mix of product, research, and delivery expertise. Based in Portland, Maine, Christian pairs deep technical breadth with a knack for translating complex constraints into practical, scalable solutions.
