Senior🎓
Top SchoolChristophe Fontaine is a Senior Principal Software Engineer with 11 years of experience specializing in embedded and real-time platforms, hardware/software co-design, and Network Function Virtualization. After eight years writing firmware and drivers, he transitioned to NFV integration and applications at Red Hat, where he progressed from senior engineer to principal and now senior principal roles. Based in Nouvelle-Aquitaine, France, he blends low-level systems expertise with cloud-native networking, delivering pragmatic solutions that bridge hardware constraints and virtualized infrastructures. A pragmatic engineer and team player, he brings deep firmware roots to complex virtualization projects and is equally comfortable debugging device drivers or shaping NFV stacks. Off the clock he’s a family man, self-described geek and proud cat owner, a detail that reflects a grounded, curious approach to engineering.
