Top SchoolChristopher Bloom is a Principal Front-end Engineer in Portland with 14 years of experience architecting scalable design systems, component libraries, and frontend tooling for enterprise teams. Currently at Knapsack he helps bridge design and code to accelerate product delivery, and previously led frontend engineering and design-systems work at Phase2. He combines hands-on implementation (JavaScript frameworks, responsive CSS, Drupal heritage) with leadership in building sustainable, reusable UI systems and developer workflows. An MBA plus a background teaching web standards gives him a rare mix of technical depth, communication skill, and product-minded process thinking. Off-hours he keeps a playful coder persona (Github bio: horsepants.js), hinting at a pragmatic, creative approach to engineering.
