Top SchoolChristopher Miller is an Assistant Teaching Professor at Northeastern University with 13 years of professional experience bridging academia and industry across finance, accounting, marketing, and hospitality. He teaches managerial finance, cost control, and financial statement analysis, and has earned awards for excellence in teaching alongside consistently strong student evaluations. His research explores market dynamics such as short sellers, stock price manipulation, asset and company valuation, and capital market reactions to policy—work informed by prior roles as a financial analyst, stockbroker, and real estate investor. Christopher’s background spans doctoral study and teaching appointments at multiple universities, and he intentionally blends scholarly rigor with practical experience to create economic and social value through research, business, and education. A personable detail: his GitHub quip, “never trust a computer you can't throw out a window,” hints at a pragmatic, skeptical approach to technology and models.
