Top SchoolChristopher Nicholson is a technical operations leader and civic-minded strategist with 11 years of experience building data-driven tools and policy programs at the intersection of startups, government, and fintech. He has hands-on engineering experience—developing internal tooling with JavaScript, Python, SQL and Retool for financial services—while also shepherding multi-stakeholder policy initiatives that helped immigrant founders raise over $40M with university partners. As cofounder of Global EIR and partner at Venture Politics he blends program management, advocacy, and fundraising with practical data skills (Salesforce, NGP VAN, SQL) to launch scalable initiatives. He has run voter-targeting programs and political campaigns, advised federal offices, and secured C‑level approvals for strategic engineering investments. Based in Denver, he now serves as Director — District A at RTD, bringing a rare mix of technical fluency and public-sector campaign experience to transportation and civic technology challenges. An otherwise unseen throughline in his work is translating tactical engineering decisions into persuasive policy and funding outcomes.
