Top SchoolChristos Dalamagkas is an associate researcher and systems engineer with nine years of experience in EU-funded smart grid, IoT and cybersecurity projects, currently splitting roles between MetaMind Innovations and the University of Western Macedonia. He leads pilot demonstrations, manages day-to-day project delivery for industry partners like PPC S.A., and has driven successful H2020 and ERASMUS+ proposals such as TERMINET, ELECTRON and JAUNTY. Hands-on with SDN-enabled and virtualized infrastructures (Proxmox/XCP-ng, Open vSwitch, Ryu), industrial networks (SCADA/PLCs/Modbus) and network automation, he pairs academic research (PhD candidate) with operational deployment experience. CCNA-certified since 2019, he also builds pragmatic tooling—e.g., a Python automation project published during his navy service—reflecting a bias for automation and reproducible systems.
