Doru Cioclea

Summary
👤
SeniorCioclea Doru is a seasoned software leader and Business Unit Director with over a decade of experience building and architecting enterprise-grade applications across finance, insurance, hospitality and e-commerce. He cut his teeth on the Microsoft stack—ASP.NET MVC/WebForms, WCF, Web API, .NET Core, WPF and Xamarin—but pairs that depth with a curiosity for microservices, Docker, React, Flutter and Node.js. Throughout his career he’s owned product lifecycles end-to-end, making architectural decisions and growing teams from hands-on development to technical leadership. Comfortable both as a coder and a director, he blends practical OOP and design-pattern discipline with an appetite for modern tooling and cross-platform approaches. Based in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, he’s known for pragmatic technical choices rather than allegiance to a single ecosystem, and he still enjoys experimenting with small-scale side projects and emerging stacks in his spare time.
