Senior🎓
Top SchoolClaudia Lagos is a Professor at the International Centre for Radio Astronomy Research with nine years of research and academic experience focused on galaxy formation and evolution through both modelling and observations. She progressed from ARC DECRA Fellow to Assistant, Associate, and now Professor at ICRAR after an ESO fellowship and a PhD at Durham, where she developed the GALFORM semi-analytic model studying star formation, ISM physics, and supernova feedback. Trained in Chile with top-ranked BSc and MSc degrees in astrophysics, she combines rigorous theoretical modelling with hands-on observational expertise, including service at the European ALMA Regional Centre. Her work bridges computational cosmology and radio astronomy, and her full publication and activity record is available at clagos.com, reflecting a sustained impact on understanding galaxy evolution across cosmic time.
