Top SchoolClaus Lensbøl is a Member of Technical Staff at Tailscale with 14 years of experience building robust networked systems, embedded platforms, and Linux infrastructure. He combines deep telecommunications theory (Master’s-level training) with hands-on engineering across Go development, FPGA/ASIC design, and ARM Linux embedded systems. His recent work focuses on making machines talk—real-time synchronization, multicast and mobile communication—while shipping Go-centric tooling and protocols. Claus has led cross-organizational migrations, CI and coding standard rollouts, and performance optimizations such as thread pooling and memory-reduced rewrites from Perl to Go. Comfortable both as an independent problem-solver and a collaborative team member, he also organizes internal education programs to raise engineering craft. Based in Toronto, he brings a rare blend of protocol-level expertise and practical DevOps experience that surfaces in resilient, low-latency networking solutions.
