Top SchoolCody Watzen is an IT Security Administrator with eight years of hands-on experience automating and administering application and system infrastructure across Linux, Docker, Atlassian, and cloud identity platforms. He blends a practical, autodidact approach—cultivated through a custom home lab and platforms like TryHackMe—with enterprise operations experience at Imagine Learning and Omaha Steaks, where he served as an Atlassian and automation SME. Cody is proficient in Python, PowerShell and Bash for API-driven tooling and workflow automation, and has owned OKTA, GitHub, DocuSign and Smartsheet integrations and optimizations. He pairs technical depth (AD, Intune, Exchange, VMware) with strong user-facing communication skills honed in retail and support roles, making complex processes accessible to nontechnical stakeholders. Known for turning curiosity into production-ready tooling, he enjoys teaching Linux and scripting to colleagues and iterating on efficient, documented procedures.
