Top SchoolCole Calistra is a seasoned technology leader and hands-on engineering executive with 25+ years building cloud-native platforms, SaaS products, and distributed teams across startups and Fortune-scale retailers. Currently a Customer Engineer at Google, he previously led startup strategy and large-scale migrations at AWS and served as CTO of a facial-recognition/emotion-analysis startup where he built multi-tenant APIs and crowd analytics products. He combines deep cloud credentials (GCP and AWS professional certs) with practical expertise in Kubernetes, service mesh, CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code, and has architected high-impact GenAI migrations and security baselines adopted across AWS. Cole is equally at home steering enterprise retail implementations—payroll, workforce management, POS, NFC and in-store systems—as he is mentoring early-stage founders and shaping product roadmaps. He has a track record of translating research-grade algorithms into production SaaS offerings and running internationally distributed engineering organizations. Based in Florida and pursuing an MS in Computer Science at Georgia Tech, he blends long-form operational experience with ongoing academic rigor.
