Top SchoolColt Pini is an engineering manager with 13 years of hands-on experience designing and building large-scale web applications and front-end systems, now leading engineering at Zapier. He champions the open web stack and has led cross-functional teams to deliver products that support over 120 languages and millions of users, elevating front-end discipline through component systems, accessibility (WCAG AA) compliance, and developer training. His background ranges from founding a boutique studio to architecting e-commerce and CMS front ends that produced dramatic performance gains and reduced maintenance costs. At Indeed he coordinated UI systems across dozens of teams, improving agile delivery and resolving hundreds of accessibility and uniformity issues. A dual Italian-American citizen based in Logan, Utah, he blends design sensibility (BFA in Visual Communication) with pragmatic engineering leadership. He’s equally comfortable shipping code, mentoring engineers, and building the systems and processes that scale product teams.
