Top SchoolColton Baker is a pragmatic software developer with 14 years of polyglot engineering experience and a current focus on IBM Hyper Protect Crypto Services. He has repeatedly taken underperforming platforms to production-grade reliability and revenue growth—most notably redesigning a medical diagnostics cloud platform that scaled toward seven-figure ARR and drove an 800% MRR increase. Comfortable across backend systems, Go microservices, TypeScript frontends, and infrastructure on AWS, he combines hands-on coding with product-minded technical leadership. An active open-source contributor, he has fixed subtle RegExp bugs in the popular director JS router and built tooling like scanners and lexers during his time at Sourcegraph. Based in North Carolina, Colton is known for quickly learning new technologies and single-handedly owning complex systems end-to-end.
