Top SchoolCorey Smith is a media technology executive and engineering leader with three decades of experience designing cloud-native broadcast systems, esports production, and global content delivery at scale. He has repeatedly transformed CapEx-heavy broadcast operations into efficient OpEx cloud ecosystems—saving millions annually while enabling rapid remote production during the pandemic. Corey builds and mentors large multi-disciplinary teams, has led glass-to-glass workflows for major sports and esports events, and architected a 24x7 cloud linear network that reached billions of views. Based in Anchorage, he blends hands-on systems engineering (CDN, encoding, ST2110) with strategic change management and GTM savvy from consulting to global media roles. Notably, he pairs operational rigor with creative problem solving—moving a major esports final on two weeks’ notice and orchestrating cloud/remote production at scale.
