Senior🎓
Top SchoolCorwin Perren is a hardware test engineer with 12 years of hands-on experience bridging software and hardware, currently designing and validating avionics and test systems at SpaceX. He thrives on full-stack embedded projects—electronics, firmware, OS-level setup, and user-facing software—and gets energized when a line of code produces real-world motion or measurement. His background includes leading multidisciplinary student teams to build award-winning Mars rovers, cost‑efficient lab automation systems, and autonomous oceanographic platforms, demonstrating practical design-for-manufacture and field-deployment experience. Comfortable with Python and embedded C++, PCB design tools, and automation workflows, he also has a knack for documentation and training, having created manuals and video guides for complex calibration procedures. Based in Bellingham, WA, Corwin pairs aerospace-grade test rigor with a maker’s curiosity, often reducing size and cost dramatically while preserving functionality.
