SeniorCosimo Palma is a Software Development Lead with 11+ years of multidisciplinary experience across automotive, railway and ICT sectors, combining hands-on engineering with project leadership in Agile and PMP environments. He has deep expertise in model-based design (Dymola/Modelica, Simulink/Stateflow, FMI) and has turned that into commercial tooling—most notably an FMI Addon for NI VeriStand used for HIL/SIL workflows. Equally fluent in low-level embedded stacks (C/C++, MISRA, real-time) and modern application stacks (Python, React/Angular, Flutter, mobile), he bridges control algorithms, HMI development and full-product delivery. As a serial founder he launched high-traffic data products (WorldGovernmentBonds and LazyPortfolioETF) and runs training initiatives, demonstrating both product instincts and teaching ability. Known for moving validation tasks from physical rigs to virtual environments, he blends simulation-driven development with practical diagnostic and instrumentation systems for trains and vehicles. Based in Turin, he pairs systems thinking with pragmatic coding—often automating testing, tooling and data workflows that accelerate complex engineering projects.
