Senior🎓
Top SchoolCostin Petre is a Senior Software Engineer based in Bucharest with 7 years of experience building high-performance full-stack web applications using React, TypeScript, Node.js and Java-backed services. He focuses on frontend architecture and performance optimization while owning end-to-end delivery, CI/CD and production support at scale. Previously he improved user-facing platforms at Gameloft and modernized internal enterprise systems at Microsoft, giving him a balanced perspective on both high-traffic public apps and mission-critical internal tools. Though formally trained in Java and currently expanding JavaScript skills, he pairs that foundation with hands-on work across databases (Postgres, MongoDB), Linux, and DevOps practices. Known for clean, maintainable code and iterative refactoring, he combines strong communication and ownership to accelerate cross-functional teams. An interesting thread through his career is a steady shift from backend-focused roles into frontend architecture and performance leadership, reflecting deliberate growth into full-stack stewardship.
