Top SchoolCraig Butler is a versatile software engineer and certified network penetration tester with 11 years of IT experience spanning network and systems administration, security, and engineering leadership. He has led and grown security teams, built secure infrastructure around Cisco, VMware, and F5 technologies, and currently helps launch a Digital Service at the U.S. House of Representatives. Craig blends hands-on technical depth—from firewall and routing design to penetration testing—with product and teaching experience as an adjunct lecturer in product management. His background includes director-level engineering roles and managing vulnerability and incident response services, and outside IT he’s produced feature films and organized a 14,000+ attendee comic convention, demonstrating uncommon event-scale project and people-management skills.
