Senior🎓
Top SchoolCraig Duckett is a Senior Software Engineer based in Auckland with a 15-year trajectory across startups and large organizations, currently focusing on Accounts and Integrations at OFX. He is a full-stack practitioner who prefers TypeScript, has recently embraced Go, and brings hands-on experience shipping React Native and Node.js features for Vet Radar products. Previously he led web teams and SaaS projects, blending product ownership with engineering delivery and a pragmatic approach to architecture. Craig’s background spans hands-on systems work from PHP/MySQL to modern typed JavaScript, giving him a rare comfort across legacy stacks and modern cloud-native tooling. He thrives in agile pod environments and mentoring roles, often driving both feature velocity and code quality. Outside of work, his steady progression from technician and lead developer roles suggests a practical problem-solver who values shipping useful software over technical showmanship.
