Senior🎓
Top SchoolCraig Mcaulay is a Senior DevOps Engineer based in Glasgow with 11 years in software engineering and over four years of focused back-end development and strong Linux expertise. AWS Certified Developer Associate, he has driven the migration of large monolithic web applications to cloud-native, microservice architectures using services like SQS, Lambda, DynamoDB and a ground-up CI/CD tooling approach. At Traveltek and now FanDuel he’s combined hands-on coding with platform-level DevOps—automating deployments, building observability pipelines into CloudWatch, and shaping routing and architectural decisions with HAProxy. He excels at turning complex, high-concurrency systems (serving global travel agents) into maintainable, automated delivery platforms and often bridges gaps between dev teams and infrastructure by provisioning developer-focused tools. A practical systems thinker, he’s comfortable moving between scripting, infrastructure-as-code and operational troubleshooting to keep services resilient at scale.
