Top SchoolCristian Marangi is a Structuring Associate based in Milan with nine years of experience at the intersection of finance and technology, currently structuring multi-tranche SPVs and building financial models for real estate and credit-backed transactions at ARECneprix (illimity Bank Group). He combines deep quantitative and portfolio analysis skills from roles in asset structuring, AIF/SPV design and credit assessment with hands-on experience in financial planning and business cases. Unusually for a finance professional, Cristian is an active open-source embedded systems contributor—having committed kernel, U-Boot and OpenWrt changes to high-profile projects like torvalds/linux and u-boot—bringing pragmatic systems-level engineering insight to complex, data-driven deals. He holds top honors in both his Bachelor's and Master's in Economics and Finance from Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca and has a track record of translating technical detail into investable structures and clear risk assessments. Colleagues rely on him for rigorous modeling, structured solutions across securitization and lending, and an ability to bridge engineering-minded problem solving with commercial deal-making.
