Austin, Texas, United States
Summary
🤩
RockstarCrystal Barragan is a Senior UX Designer based in Austin with eight years of experience crafting user-centered product and developer experiences at Microsoft and IBM. She blends UX and content strategy with deep docs-as-code fluency—producing CLI/SDK/API documentation, software docs, and content design using Figma, Markdown, GitHub, and OpenAPI. At IBM she authored developer-facing security docs and at Microsoft she’s scaled cross-disciplinary design and documentation practices for complex products. Crystal’s skillset sits at the intersection of product UX and technical communication, allowing her to simplify developer workflows and user interfaces without losing technical rigor. Colleagues rely on her to translate API and tooling complexity into clear, usable content that meets users where they are.
