Top SchoolDamien 戴明 is a Chief Technology Officer and PHP specialist with over three decades of hands-on experience in PHP and 12 years in senior leadership roles, currently leading Exakat’s development of an automated PHP code auditing platform built on PHP, Neo4j and MariaDB. He combines deep technical craftsmanship—code auditing, migrations, and quality tooling—with practical product delivery, having driven measurable improvements like a 27% reduction in legacy code issues and led PHP 8.5 migrations. A multilingual speaker who has presented globally on PHP, MySQL/MariaDB, security and audits, he regularly translates complex static analysis insights into actionable developer guidance. His background spans technical direction, consulting and running country operations, giving him a rare mix of engineering, pre-sales and organisational modernization experience. Based in The Hague, he’s passionate about mentoring teams and elevating engineering practices through automated quality checks and clean code principles. One less obvious strength: he pairs formal engineering education in micro‑waves and acoustics with long-term practical mastery of web platforms, which informs a methodical, measurement-driven approach to software quality.
