Summary
👤
SeniorDan Mckeon is a founder and software engineer with 13 years of experience building full-stack, production-grade systems and leading engineering teams. He combines hands-on development in TypeScript, Node.js, React, AWS serverless, and Ruby on Rails with product-focused design—delivering intuitive UIs and robust backend APIs for payments, DevSecOps, and analytics. As Technical Lead at OpenZeppelin he scaled mission-critical blockchain infrastructure and built SDLC and support frameworks; as founder of McKeon Consulting he now architects microservices and Stripe integrations for high-volume payments. He has driven design-system adoption and accessibility certification at Avalara and repeatedly shipped serverless API solutions that simplified operations and migration from legacy stacks. Based on a background in economics and marketing early in his career, he pairs technical depth with business-first thinking and a talent for translating customer needs into measurable product outcomes. He’s pragmatic, documentation-minded, and comfortable guiding projects from prototype to multi-million-dollar production deployments.
