Top SchoolDan Tennery-spalding is a seasoned full-stack engineer and product manager with 11 years of experience building secure, data-driven frontends and cloud-backed services from Oakland, CA. He blends deep React/Redux and dataviz expertise with hands-on cybersecurity product work—having owned enterprise dashboards at Palo Alto Networks and led ML-powered phishing detection, sandboxing, and Discord security tooling at Interlock. Comfortable switching hats, he moves between writing performant UI code, authoring design docs for novel ideas like NFT-as-software-license, and coordinating audits and go-to-market efforts. A former Vue.js practitioner who helped Fortune 500 customers visualize cloud risk, he also brings startup grit from Y Combinator life as an early engineer and founder experience in education and civic tech. He pairs technical delivery with instructional craft—authoring a well-reviewed book on adult education and developing training content—so complex security features land in the hands of real users.
