Shumen, Shumen, Bulgaria
Summary
👤
SeniorDanail Karadaliev is a versatile game designer and senior web developer with over two decades of hands-on experience that spans 8-bit hobbyist coding to founding and running GoldenOrbs Ltd. He combines deep PHP backend expertise—recently focused on Phalcon, PHP7 and PSR-2 clean architecture—with strong front-end and UX work from projects using VueJS and NodeJS. Danail has led teams as technical lead, project manager and recruiter, delivering everything from small business sites to large management systems and eCommerce platforms like Salesforce Commerce Cloud. He emphasizes test-driven service-layer design (Codeception, Phinx) and modern development workflows (Docker, Vagrant, Git hosting and CI), bringing both legacy and cutting-edge tools to bear. Unusually for a senior developer, he continues to produce his own indie game work through GoldenOrbs, blending product ownership with engineering craft. Based in Shumen, Bulgaria, he’s equally comfortable mentoring teams or shipping solo projects end-to-end.
