Senior🎓
Top SchoolDaniel Alves is a Senior Backend Engineer with 15 years of experience building scalable distributed systems and high-performance platforms, currently contributing at Jupiter from Goiás, Brazil. He has led architecture and backend efforts for high-traffic products—most notably a Sportsbook capable of serving over 5 million users and a scalable racing game backend that drove a 28% increase in NFT usage. Comfortable across the stack, Daniel has migrated systems between ecosystems (NestJS to .NET), combined stateless APIs with stateful actor-based simulators, and orchestrated slim container deployments for Kubernetes. He pairs hands-on engineering with mentorship and teaching—having delivered advanced frontend modules and postgraduate courses on modern web architectures and TypeScript. Pragmatic about integrations, he has deep experience with REST, gRPC, RabbitMQ, Kafka and actor systems like Proto.Cluster, favoring resource-efficient designs. His GitHub quip—“changing tires with the bus running”—captures his knack for live-system upgrades and incremental, high-impact improvements.
